On Veterans Day last week, we reflected on the sacrifices members of the U.S. Armed Forces made and continue to make everyday to protect our freedoms. I am so grateful for this and wanted to find a way to show my appreciation and help others do the same.

Sending a “touch of home” to American men and women who serve our country is the perfect way to express your appreciation and support during the holiday season. Making a card is a simple act of kindness that means the world to our soldiers and their families, especially during this time of the year.

If you'd like to make a hero feel special this holiday season, please consider sending a card through my Heritage Makers website to the Holiday Mail for Heroes program. If you do not already have a Heritage Makers Studio publishing account, you can sign up for FREE here. Once you have logged in, browse through the Template Gallery. Use the single keyword search box and type in the word “military” or “Leah” to find the appropriate templates. View the template details and get the template to start customizing your card.

You will also have the option to Direct Ship the card...meaning, we will take care of printing the card, stuffing and addressing the envelope(s), and then mailing the card for you. All you do is click and we take care of the rest!

2010 Best of Heritage Awards

The Best of Heritage winner in the "Best Life Tribute" category. Kurt Brown wrote this book to memorialize the life of his sister, Jennifer Alene Brown Gilbert. Book design by Kurt Brown and Heidi Arave.



This Best of Heritage award winner chronicles Amie Austin's journey in Heritage Makers. After looking through this book, it's pretty easy to see why she is a top leader in the company!




The Best of Heritage winner in the "Best Life Tribute" category. Arae Wyatt tells the poignant account of the short life of her son Tristan with the help of the beautiful photographs taken by Julie Williams of the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep organization. Warning: this is a tear-jerker!
