But since she is no longer with us, and her recipes were never written down, I will be starting a new collection of family recipes. As we gather over Thanksgiving, I will be collecting recipes from my mom and my aunts to start this new family cookbook because when my daughters are older, I want them to have this piece of their heritage live on and celebrated with their families.

November Pick of the Month

The November "Pick of the Month" is one of my favorites for this time of year and makes a perfect holiday gift for family and friends. At these prices, it's also very budget friendly :)

Every year, my family looks forward to receiving their calendar as their Christmas present from us. I include everyone's birthdays (along with the celebrant's picture on that date), anniversaries and other important family events or dates to remember.
